Office cleaning in Auckland

Cleaned after hours, to a written scope, for a fixed monthly figure. No minimum term, and one person you can actually call when the kitchen has been left in a state.

Short answer

The Cleaning Company provides office and commercial cleaning across Auckland, New Zealand. Sites are cleaned after hours — typically 6pm to 10pm on weekdays or before 7am — to a scope agreed in writing, at a fixed monthly price quoted per site. Services cover workstations, meeting rooms, kitchens and breakout areas, bathrooms, hard floors and carpet, plus optional amenity and consumable supply. There is no minimum term and no lock-in contract.

Scope

A typical office scope

Yours is written specifically, but this is the shape of it. Everything on the list has a stated frequency, so nobody has to argue about whether the fridge was "supposed" to be done.

Workspaces

  • Desks and workstations wiped around equipment
  • Meeting rooms reset, tables and whiteboards cleaned
  • Reception and breakout areas presented
  • Interior glass, partitions and door handles
  • Rubbish and recycling emptied and separated
  • Carpets vacuumed, hard floors mopped

Kitchens and amenities

  • Benches, sinks and splashbacks
  • Appliance exteriors, microwave interiors
  • Dishwasher run and emptied
  • Fridge exterior weekly, interior monthly
  • Bins emptied, sanitised and re-lined
  • Consumables restocked

Bathrooms

  • Pans, urinals, basins and taps cleaned and disinfected
  • Mirrors and chrome polished
  • Partitions and touch points sanitised
  • Floors washed and dried
  • Paper, soap and sanitiser restocked
  • Sanitary units serviced

Periodic work — carpet extraction, hard floor strip and seal, high dusting, interior window washing and post-build cleans — is scheduled separately and quoted per job.

Why it goes wrong

The two failure modes of commercial cleaning

Scope drift. A contract is signed against a vague scope, the frequency quietly reduces, and eighteen months later the kitchen is a problem nobody owns. We write the scope with frequencies attached and review it with you, so drift is visible rather than gradual.

Nobody to call. Something is missed and the complaint goes into an inbox at a national office. Because we are independent, the person who quoted your site is the person who answers, and they can fix it the same night.

The trade-off is honest: we are not the right fit for a national portfolio across five cities. For a single Auckland site, or a few of them, we are a much better one.

WrittenScope with frequencies attached, so nothing quietly disappears.
FixedMonthly price that only changes when the scope changes.
No termLeave whenever you want. We would rather keep earning it.

Professional offices

Legal, accounting, agency and consulting tenancies from a single floor upward.

Studios and creative spaces

Open-plan fit-outs where the kitchen and breakout areas do the heavy lifting.

Clinics and consulting rooms

Retail and showrooms

Front-of-house presentation before opening, glass and floors as the priority.

Questions

Office cleaning questions

How much does office cleaning cost in Auckland?

Commercial cleaning is quoted per site rather than off a rate card, because floor area, floor type, headcount, kitchen and bathroom count and frequency change the number substantially. We walk the site, give you a written scope and a fixed monthly figure, and that figure does not move unless the scope does.

Do you clean after hours?

Almost always. Most of our commercial work runs between 6pm and 10pm on weekdays, or early morning before 7am, so nobody is vacuuming behind a desk during a call. Weekend schedules suit sites with restricted after-hours building access.

How do you handle keys, alarms and building access?

Access arrangements are documented before the first clean — keys, fobs, alarm codes, after-hours lift access and any building sign-in requirement. Keys are logged, never labelled with an address, and held by named staff. We also handle the building manager relationship so you are not the intermediary.

Do you supply consumables like paper towels and hand soap?

Yes, if you want that handled. We can manage the whole amenity supply — toilet paper, hand towels, soap, sanitiser and bin liners — on a monthly consumables line, restocked as part of the clean so the office never runs out on a Friday afternoon.

Can you scale up or down as our office changes?

Yes, and without renegotiating a contract, because there is not one. Add a floor, move to a new building, drop from five nights to three — we adjust the scope and the price and carry on.
