Mission Bay is a beach suburb with apartment stock right on the water and family homes on the slope behind it, and the beach decides most of what the cleaning involves. Sand comes in on feet, towels and bags, and it does not stay on the floor — it works into carpet edges, under bed frames, along skirting and into the shower base, where it scratches if it is wiped rather than lifted.
The correct order matters and it is the thing most often got wrong here: vacuum thoroughly before any wet work. Mopping a sandy floor grinds the sand into the finish and moves the rest into the corners. It is not a difficult job. It is a job with a right sequence.
Salt on glass and hardware
Anything facing the water carries a salt film within days — balcony glass, window reveals, exterior door hardware, balustrades. Interior glass is standard in every clean. Summer is a different business

Sequence. Everything is vacuumed thoroughly — carpet edges, under beds, skirting lines and the shower base — before any wet work starts. Mopping or wiping first is what grinds sand into a finish. It is the single biggest difference between a beachfront property cleaned by someone who works here and one cleaned by someone who does not.
Can you handle summer changeovers at short notice?
